PACE

Traditional server hardware doesn't belong at the edge. PACE was built by challenging assumptions, starting from conditions, not constraints.

We are a design-driven engineering company. That means we care deeply about the design, form, function, usability, and portability of our edge platforms. Maintaining harmony between design and engineering is a continuous, iterative process—this is how we approach the development of PACE.

PACE is a constantly evolving platform, shaped by ongoing innovation to ensure we deliver the best edge solutions—enabling more outcomes across more environments and use cases.

We build trust through innovative design and built-in reliability and usability, making PACE a steadfast partner in your most critical operations.
Form  |  Function

Form and Function are core pillars in the design of every PACE platform. We prioritise these because we want our platforms to be portable and to work seamlessly across a wide range of edge environments—from a rack, desk, or floor to a rooftop, a roadside ditch, a rucksack, or even strapped to your jacket.

The entire PACE range is designed with forms that align with varying portability and performance needs.

We have a particular affinity for half-width, short-depth PACE forms, as these unlock more deployment possibilities in diverse and unconventional spaces.

Beyond form, Function is equally important. We focus on how well a PACE platform performs its intended role. While our platforms are unique in their physical design, they are also built to be intuitive and familiar—never creating a barrier to usability.

PACE strives to maintain a perfect balance between Form and Function—enabling the best possible outcomes wherever and however our platforms are deployed.

We view space not only in 3D but also in planes. A traditional server typically operates within a single plane, with components projecting across planes but largely serving the same function. In contrast, we approach the space within a PACE platform differently. Using a unique scaffolding construction method, we position components in their own dedicated space and plane.

This allows us to significantly increase the density of capability within a compact footprint, all while adhering to our Form and Function design principles.

What does that mean? In a smaller space, we can deliver more compute, more storage, more memory—and ultimately, more of the edge capability you need.

A key part of the PACE design is Converged Infrastructure—the ability to integrate compute, storage, networking, routing, and security within a single PACE platform. This is essential to enabling portability across the PACE platform range. By combining distinct but related functions into a single physical unit, we unlock new ways of working—and new outcomes.

The key to making a converged platform perform as expected lies in a coherent design—one that seamlessly blends multiple functions into a unified PACE platform.

The ability to carry, in overhead luggage, systems equipped with powerful processors, accelerators, the latest memory and PCIe standards, EDSFF storage, and OCP networking.

- Processors - AMD EPYC, INTEL XEON 6, Ampere ARM
- Acelerators - NVIDIA, AMD, INTEL
- EDSFF Storage - up to 120TB per disk
- OCP Networking - up to 200GB ports

The PACE design enables both portable platforms and data centre-class compute, storage, networking, and AI—consolidating resources and reducing the need for multiple servers.

Our vision has always been—and will continue to be—to push data centre technology to the edge while staying true to our Form and Function design principles for each PACE platform.

We understand how diverse edge demands can be and the distinct features and functions that entail. Thats why we designed two Pace platforms; AIR and FRONTIER.

AIR redefines a the role of a traditional air cooled datacenter server by reimagine form and function, putting portability first with a focus on half width platforms that can be easily carried, thrown in a rucksack or case, or rack mounted two abreast in a traditional 19" rack.

FRONTIER was designed to endure harsh edge environments whilst simultaneously enabling datacenter scale and technology at the most extreme edge use cases.

We designed and engineered PACE AIR and FRONTIER for a wide range of  environments and uses, ensuring optimal performance and portability, whatever the challenge.
AIR
AIR platforms combine portability and capability, designed for demanding roles outside traditional data centre boundaries.
FRONTIER
Purpose-built for harsh deployments, FRONTIER ensures uptime, resilience, and performance in the field.
